Why we started
Most advisers do one thing well. A family with a mortgage, two children and a buy to let ends up with a will from one place, life cover from another and a mortgage from a third, and nobody checks that they fit together. The gaps tend to show up at the worst possible moment.
Craddock was set up to close those gaps. The same person who understands the mortgage looks at the cover written in trust behind it, and at the will that passes the home on.
Twenty years of watching how lending decisions are really made also means we pay close attention to property: who owns it, how, what’s borrowed against it, and what happens to all of that when someone dies.
